Angus Stewart has lived on the Isle of Mull since 1964. He attended Newcastle Polytechnic studying Graphic Design and Fine Art before returning to Mull to paint primarily water colours. As a professional artist since 1982, his work has been informed by his travels throughout Europe, the United States of America and New Zealand. His works can be found in the collections of Dame Kiri Te Kanawa (opera singer) , Duchess of Cambridge, and Lee Mack (Comedian). Stewart has exhibited in The Sainsbury Centre University of East Anglia; Dukes Playhouse Lancaster; Patersons Fine Art London; Trinity House Leith; Lambs House, Leith; Fruitlands Gallery, New Zealand, The Manor House, Oban, Kranenburg and Fowler of Oban; Iona Pottery on Iona; Glengorm Castle on Mull; Calgary Arts, Isle of Mull.
